Red Cross Orientation: Attend a group orientation and speak with a volunteer liaison who can help you determine the most fulfilling opportunities for you at the Red Cross. Register for an upcoming orientation.  

STEP 2

Volunteer Application: After you attend Red Cross Orientation, you will be asked to complete the chapter volunteer application and an online background check (ages 18+) or youth permission form (ages 15 - 17).  
 

STEP 3

Train for Your Volunteer Opportunity: Depending on which volunteer path you choose with the American Red Cross, you may need to complete additional training.  We will work with you to refer you to the department(s) of your choice and will inform you of any additional training you may need to get started.
